NBN new development fees
I'm moving in an very old house. I don't know if the previous tenant has NBN connections before or not. Would it be possible that Telstra tell me if my new connection (HFC) to this house include a NBN new development fees ($300), before I apply for the connection? Just don't want to be surprised to see my first bill. Thanks

Re: NBN new development fees
Hi @marlin9107 they'll let you know when you place the order. If you rent, forward this cost onto your landlord as this is their expense.
While I am a Telstra employee, I am not an official Telstra representative on CrowdSupport. My opinions are my own and do not necessarily represent those of Telstra.

@jhwiz it's the renter's expense in some states (eg Victoria) unless the landlord agrees to pay for it.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
