NBN no connection

My internet has been gone since this morning. I applied for my plan March 18th and have received several emails in the last week with vaious confirmations of my plan and that a person would be out to install my connection. This house already had a connection, in my ex partners name and I was assured there would be no break in service delivery while setting up my account. I can't seem to speak with anyone for help with this. I've had 2 text messages stating a person would be here tomorrow to connect me and I have replied No to both because it said this  would prompt someone to call me. It's very hard to work from home with no connection. Please help.
