NBN WiFi

Answered

We have just moved on to the NBN. All devices (phones, lap top, Ipad etc) except the PS4 can locate and connect to the new WiFi. Has anyone else had problems with a PS4 connecting to WiFi after going on to the NBN? Thank you

Re: NBN WiFi

Try disabling band steering in the modems 2.4GHz band. This will result in the 5GHz WiFi band having a different SSSID, -5G being added to the end of the normal SSID, this fixes the WiFi connection problem that some devices have.

Re: NBN WiFi

Thank you for your response. Sorry to sound completely stupid but how do you disable band steering (whatever it is)
