Nbn wont recognise or connect to 5g, will only connect to 2g. Very frustrating

Is your device capable of 5 G Wi-Fi? If it is it might not be DFS compatible. If device is 5G capable log into gateway and change 5 G Wi-Fi band channel to a non DFS channel. See image below for non DFS channels.
