nbn

Some 2 years ago Telstra hard wired an adsl remote splitter into our line coming into the house, from this splitter one line is to the phone, the other to our modem. The splitter is a N573 model c10100e. We have received our nbn modem and is now installed. I believe that when we are connected to then bn in a months time the current phone line will no longer be needed and the phone will connect to the modem. Can we leave the hard wired splitter in the system?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: nbn

Most, if not all, modern central filters should be fine on the NBN.

Re: nbn

Also split the internal wiring up to separate ADSL and phones.

Is there any difference for this between TheNBN fibre/cable  and TheNBNwireless ?

Am being moved to TheNBN on Wireless

Re: nbn

NBN wireless doesn't use your internal wiring, you plug into a White Box (Network Termination Device) that they will install on your wall. FTTP (Fibre to the Premesis) is similiar
