I have been without internet connection now for 36 hours, does anyone know how long it takes for NBN to resolve a fault once you’ve reported it, I sent a message to them today asking if it would be resolved today and was told yes it would be today but it’s still not back on

Unfortunately it can be anywhere from a couple of hours till .......


It depends on what is causing the fault and whether they need to get replacement parts in.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

What sort of internet service is it and what Telstra modem/router do you have (label on the bottom)?


If it is a Smart Modem, then you should have 4G backup (shown by a blue indicator on the front) for when the internet service is lost. Sometimes you need to pull out the DSL or WAN cable to make that kick in properly.
