NBN

I've just moved into a new house and NBN technician is due to come next month to connect to NBN.  But I can't find a data point or telephone point anywhere in the house.  I think the previous owners were a 'bit off the grid' kind of people.  There is a Telstra box on the outside of the house, so assume the house has been connected to at least a landline at sometime in the past.  To connect to FTTN, do we need a data point in the house?  I'm thinking that I do and that I need to have that sorted before Telstra technician arrives.  Can someone please advise

Re: NBN

You need a phone socket to connect to FTTN. The technician will do this as part of the installation if there isn't one already there.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
