Network connection on my desktop

Hi I have just recently received my modem, having signed up for a new internet plan and I can’t get a network connection on my desktop. All lights are green able to get wifi on my tv. No wifi showing u on my desktop

There could be a number of reasons for this one might be that your PC only support 2.4 GHz WiFi and the 2.4 GHz WiFi band of the modem is faulty. If you have the DJA0231 modem the 2.4 GHz WiFi might be faulty. Another indication would be that all WiFi devices are connected to the modem on the 5 GHz band. To check this open a web browser on device connected to modem and go to http://192.168.0.1, password is Telstra. Go to Advanced > Devices, a list off all connected devices and how they are connected is displayed. If all WiFi devices are connected on 5 GHz then there is a good chance the 2.4 GHz WiFi band is faulty.
