Network updates

Hi all.
I just received word that NBN Co is performing ‘Network Updates’ in my area and I’m curious as to what the effect of such updates will be?

If a area has already been converted to NBN these are usually maintenance updates and apart from possibly a brief disruption to your service you should not notice any effects.

If it is an area not converted to NBN yet then NBN will be installing new infrastructure alongside the existing infrastructure that might cause a temporary disruption to your service or in rare circumstance might result in a fault occurring on your service.
