New NBN Smart Modem Connection

Hello. I am just installing my new Smart Modem to my NBN for the first time, The Modem has been sitting on Blue - Mobile Back Up for quite some time. Will it eventually go to Green NBN Connection or is there something wrong? TIA.

Something is wrong.

Was the NBN link working before you connected the modem?

Is the WAN / DSL light on the back of the modem green?

What type of NBN connection do you have? (FTTB, FTTC, FTTN, FTTP, or HFC)
