No internet

I have been trying to get my internet fixed for the last 36hrs. I ring and don’t get to speak to someone. I am passed onto texting and have been getting the same useless text messages now for 24hrs. Telstra you service is terrible and your system to have something fixed is so frustrating. How do I speak to someone to get this fixed?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: No internet

Keep getting the excuse telstra is understaffed because of COVID. My work place hasn’t changed, we have had to segregate but are still getting the job done. Telstra you need to improve your service.

Re: No internet

Hi Chris.

Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sure we can help to get this working better for you.

What connection type you are having trouble with? ADSL, Cable, NBN, NBN fixed wireless or Mobile Broadband? Would you mind going through some quick troubleshooting for me?

Can you please check your address on our outage page https://tel.st/gyy2f. If there are no official outages listed, please go through our online troubleshooting tool here: https://tel.st/v4bpc. This will guide you through some steps while connected to your modem that will help diagnose any technical issues that could be effecting your services.

If there are no outages or faults picked up, we have a great support page with suggestions you can try at home to help improve your speed & Wi-Fi connection, please have a read through here https://tel.st/4ufns.

Let me know how you go once you’ve had a go at the steps above.

Regards - Tom
