Our house NBN (FTTN) line to the street was cut by a fencing contractor (along with water and electricity lines) 

 

How to we go about having this repaired?

For your NBN connection, call Telstra on 132200 and report the damage (say "faults" at the prompt).

 

Make sure that you pass along the Fencing Contractor's details as they will be charged for the repairs (otherwise the property owner who was having the fencing works done will most likely get hit with the repair costs).

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
