it certainly does aid my understanding, and (please dont take this the wrong way) your continued, "if you dont like it please leave", is what I dont understand from Telstra, surely a customer paying something (even if it is slightly less than the norm), contracted into a broadband plan, a home phone and 2 mobile plans is better than losing all of that? Maybe business has changed since I was in it, who knows?
