REMOVED called me and claimed overseas people were using my internet and they were going to walk me through steps to fix it. After agreeing they transferred me to their supervisor apparently her name was Mary and her Telstra employee number was TL86015. She then asked me to run the CMD and then type accor then enter 888DCA60FC0A11CF8F0F00C0FD7D062 into whatever. I wasn't actually doing anything so I'm not where I was supposed to enter that code. Next she said to google search www.join.me and open the result then connect to a technician. No way I was letting them screen cast my computer. Then I hung up.

Yes, it is a scam, but do not post a mobile number in a public forum as it may actually belong to someone whose caller id is being spoofed.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
