Slow Internet



Ever since the last few days, I have experienced extremely slow internet speeds. (0.5-1.5mbps) and only 0.2mpbs. We usually experience 3mpbs~ down and 0.8mbps up. Unfortunately, we are on ADSL+ (even though we have been promised NBN since 2013) and this is simply what we have to deal with. Every year, the date NBN is "expected" to be rolled out is pushed back another year. Please find below my current DSL statistics;

Every year, the quality and speed of Telstra has declined. When we first moved into the house, we achieved download speeds of 7-10mpbs. However, other residents only a few streets away (on the same line, and further from the exchange) is experiencing about 12-17mpbs, currently while we suffer with these slow speeds.
