Hi
I want to ask if there are any know issue or if anyone else is experiencing slow speeds coming from the east coast to WA?
Our NBN Fixed wireless (in the COVID-19) crisis, as in more users, I am still getting 35mbps download speed at 99% of the time and 6.2mbps up on a NBN FW 50/10 plan.
I have tested several Virtual Private Servers that I am looking to buy, but I am getting much lower speeds than they say I should be getting. These are known and well tested VPS providers. On a 200MB test file I get only 3.7mbps download. They have said it should be more than 20mbps at a minimum. I know a month or two ago I was getting more than 20mbps from an east coast server. So I am not sure how I test this.
I was asked to check with our NBN provider to identify is there are any known issues between Melbourne/Sydney to Perth?
Or maybe a local issue here using my Gen2 modem ethernet connected.

Re: Slow speeds from east to WA on NBN Fixed Wireless?
If you can provide a tracert to both the poorly performing server and a site that you are getting good performance from, then that would be helpful in trying to figure out what is going on.
