I received an SMS on Tuesday:


Hi, this is a notice of disconnection for your Telstra services from 13/11/2020 to make way for NBN. Please call us on 1800304791 (M-F 9am to 5pm) if you want to stay connected.

Is this real or a scam?


I called Telstra’s Sales Watch 24/7 number 1800260270 to try and find out.  The recording said they were closed!  It’s 2:45pm Thursday!
