Hi all,
I am over this, long story but in short took over a month to get my FTTN NBN connected
Finally yesturday NBN tech arrives and connects the service
Router is getting sync and can see layer 3 is up and from the router i can ping out to IP and hostnames and get responces – all looks good
from PC i have a local ip and can ping to IP address and hostnames (all looks good)
however cannot for the life of me open a website in a browser
Have tired factory reset , different modems, different devices (PC's) both by wifi and ethernet
I am really stumped and support have now put my incident though to a specialist team
The strange part is i cannot browse however no issues with pinging by IP or hostnames
So that rules out a DNS issue
I have tried different DNS and same results just incase
Its like there is something wrong with the radius account on telstra's end.
I am at the point i might just cancel and go with another provider as they dont seem to understand what is happening.
I cannot web browse by IP either
Any ideas as i am really out of them at the moment ....

The Gateways firewall or Parental controls might be preventing you browsing the WEB or it could be a faulty gateway.
One thing you could try is turn off WiFi in gateway. Put gateway in Bridge mode and connect PC to one of the LAN ports and see if you have internet access.
