Switching from HFC to FTTB

I'm looking to move home and currently have a a premium HFC NBN connection. What happens to my plan if  I go to a property that only has FTTB connection (premium plus connection not available according to the website) and will I need any new hardware? Already using the Smart Modem2.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Switching from HFC to FTTB

The only new hardware you will need a normal phone cable to connect DSL port on modem to the phone wall socket. Your plan will probably drop to the Standard Plus evening and your monthly bill should reduce.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
