Telstra SLOW Routers !! 38 ms to 236 ms Lag !!
I have just been on the phone with the incompetent Idiots at Telstra Support. All they can do, and are interested in doing, is confirming my "SpeedTest" - ABSOLUTELY DAMN PATHETIC !!.
TELSTRA if you are reading this, get your arse into gear. You haven't got a clue about Support.
I have been having a lot of trouble accessing overseas sites, just very slow.
Having done a few tracert's I am seeing the following which looks to me so be an issue with Telstra routers ?
9 38 ms 38 ms 38 ms i-0-1-0-47.sydp-core03.bi.telstraglobal.net [202.84.222.25]
10 263 ms 262 ms 263 ms i-0-4-0-56.paix-core02.bi.telstraglobal.net [202.84.138.50]
38 sm to 263 ms That is a problem !!
Would appreciate any thoughts and if I am right, suggestions on how to get this addressed with Telstra. Their basic front like support does not comprehend the issue, and bunch of poorly trained Kids who simply placate people with Stupid questions and time wasting processes.
thanks

Re: Telstra SLOW Routers !! 38 ms to 236 ms Lag !!
What time was the tracert run?
While the jump from Sydney to the Palo Alto exchange looks to be higher than normal, international latency is not guaranteed and I can't see any faults listed between Australia and California
Here's some more information on international traffic:
