Terrible speed and latency in the evenings
As per the title, every night between 4-11 my connection turns to absolute garbage.
can't load a youtube video, page timeouts and I spent $100 on the new Call of Duty for nothing, because gaming is impossible with the ridiculous lag.
I get a max of about 200 kB/s down during these times
My router is synced at :
DownStream Connection Speed | 20431 kbps |
UpStream Connection Speed | 1023 kbps |

Usage spikes will cause slow speed connections.

Or not even using internet then your internet usage gets high.

So, am I experiencing congestion or is it what Diane suggests?
I'm inclined to think it's the former and that Diane didn't have a clue what she was talking about.

They can confirm it and give you the required DSLAM ID so you can check http://www.telstrawholesale.com.au/download/document/backhaul-upgrade-list.xls and monitor it for any updates that may or may not be occurring to your infrastructure.
Also isolate to ethernet on 1 device.
