Tg797n V3 new NBN connection via DSL not working

Hi,
We moved from NBN in-premise connection to NBN in building basement connection. Tg797 used to work flawlessly at old place.

After NBN technician visit at new place. He tried connecting to Tg797 using telephone line and connecting to DSL in apartment and couldn't get internet working.

ECO power button and Internet Button are solid red.
WAN is blinking.
Able to see wireless and connect via Ethernet.

I tried support articles resetting gateway, but no use.

Technician suggested that I should get new Modem as this one does not support VDSL.

Let me know how to resolve this as Telstra support thinks this modem should work.

Regards,
Vijaya

As far as I know, the tech is right and the 797n does not support FTTB VDSL NBN connection.

Re: Tg797n V3 new NBN connection via DSL not working

@DrQ is correct. The TG797 is not VDSL capable so will not work on FTTN (Fibre to the Node) or FTTB (Fibre to the Basement)  type NBN connections
