The NBN and Foxtel packages

I presently have an ADSL2+ unlimited broadband connection. I have the Foxtel Hottest Entertainment Bundle from Telstra. I pay $159 pm for this package and my Broadband connection. If I go onto a NBN Standard Plus package for $80 pm do I also pay the $150 for the Foxtel package?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: The NBN and Foxtel packages

You may not be able to change the NBN plan if your Foxtel is bundled with your existing plan.

There are bundles that include both your NBN and Foxtel. See https://www.telstra.com.au/internet/entertainment-packages

If you "unbundled" and had separate NBN and Foxtel Plans, then you would pay for your Foxtel as a separate billing item (these range from $50 to $99 per month for the first 12 months). So you could end up paying more than a bundle.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Re: The NBN and Foxtel packages

All sorted. We spoke to both the NBN and Foxtel and we will keep the same bundle but mover over to the NBN from our ADSL2+.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
