Re: VPN

If you have never had or used a VPN, chances are the website is wrong. Is it a legit website? Have you cleared your browser cookies, cache and data? Tried another browser?

Do you Antivirus or other web security/protection installed?

What is your device/system and what is the web site?

Too many devices, probably an addict :-) also a tinkerer and developer of stuff..
Not with Telstra, just another customer like you!

Re: VPN

To check if a VPN is in use open a command prompt on a PC connected to the modem and do a Tracert to the website that reports that a VPN is in use. Post the results here.

An example is shown below

>tracert adam.com.au

Tracing route to adam.com.au [203.0.178.48]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms <1 ms 1 ms mymodem [192.168.178.1]
2 7 ms 7 ms 7 ms gateway.sb03.adelaide.asp.telstra.net [58.162.26.163]

Re: VPN

Using a Mac Air and an Ipad

chrome and/or Safari

cleared everything multiple times

turned security off, no change

legit, legal website... just keeping private

cheers

Re: VPN

Unless that last hop (10) is causing the issue. That is the Telstra-Cloudflare Private Networks link in Hong Kong.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
