Want to self-setup NBN modem but current order waiting for a technician

We had our NBN connection delayed to after the Melbourne lock-downs late September. We were given the option to self-install via text and chose that option, yet as I couldn't answer the phone call from them they reverted to a technician install after lock-downs.

 

How can I get in contact with someone from Telstra to let me go back to this option I requested for - as no one available over the phone.

I would try these numbers.

Telstra billing 1800 461 799

Telstra Tech Support 1800 007 391

or  the app.

https://www.telstra.com.au/mytelstra

send a message (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen) and if Codi sends you somewhere else, type Speak to a consultant.

 

I don't work for Telstra, Never have, I am just a Telstra customer like you.
So the advice I give is my own, In my own time, Guided by my own experience/knowledge.
Which I am always happy to be corrected on.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
