So which make and model is your Wi-Fi router/gateway/access point/device?

A Netgear DGN2200, then? According to page 9 of the user manual, the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and key (or password or passphrase) should be printed on a label on the bottom of the unit.

If it's not there, then my suggestion would be

  1. Connect a computer by Ethernet cable to one of the yellow Ethernet LAN ports on the Netgear unit.
  2. Use a thin, stiff, pointy object to press the Restore Factory Settings button on the Netgear unit (while it's powered/switched on).
  3. Once the Netgear unit has reset itself, browse to http://www.routerlogin.net/ or http://www.routerlogin.com/ in a web browser running on the connected computer.
  4. Log in as the admin user (using “password” as the password).
  5. Go to Settings » Wireless to view the wireless settings. The Wi-Fi (WPA2) passphrase should be displayed on that page. (See page 34 of the user manual.)

Hi Davo1960 welcome to Crowd Support!

Firstly are you sure that your pre-paid USB stick is wi-fi capable? If so you should have received the wi-fi password on a card with your device. If you cannot locate this though you can chat with our support team for Pre-Paid here 24x7:
