WiFi dropouts Replacing Telstra Gen 2 Arcadyan with Telstra Smart Business modem (Netgear V7610)

I'm having ongoing wifi dropout issues with the Telstra Gen 2 Arcadyan modem on the Telstra NBN service. I was given a Telstra Smart Business modem (Netgear V7610) by the Telstra tech on the last visit as he indicated that the current batch of Telstra Arcadyan modems are known to have wifi issues. After installed the new Telstra Business smart modem, it seems to have resolved the WiFi dropouts, however, the problem is that my phone line doesn't work. There's not many options to configure for the phone service, basically you use autodetect or provide gateway details that Telstra do not apparently provide. Has anyone else tried this swapping the Arcadyan for the smart business modem and managed to get this setup to work? Thank you MArcus
