WIFI MODEM PASSWORD CHANGE

HI,  I HAVE TO CHANGE THE PASSWORD OF MY WIFI MODEM AS IT IS BEING HACKED.  WHEN I RANG TELSTRA THEY TOLD ME TYPE IN 10.0.0.138 ON ANY BROWSER AND THEN CLICK ON WIFI AND THEN CONTINUE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS TO CHANGE THE PASSWORD.  WHEN I TYPE IN THIS ADDRESS I CANNOT FIND ANYWHERE TO CLICK ON WIFI.

 

WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE.

Hi! 

 

It's a bit more complicated than that. Once you type in 10.0.0.138 in your browser, you should get to the modem log-in page. You'll need to enter the Username and password. Instead, try entering telstra.gateway/ 

 

You may need to enter your Telstra password, but then you should see a series of heading, one of which is Wi-fi. You can also look at the following link;

You should have a navigation bar like this at the top, 

Menu

If you click the Wi-Fi option, you should then have a box like this

 

Wireless settings

Update the Network Name and Network Key (password) as you wish, and then click Save. 

 

You will be disconnected from Wi-Fi and will have to then reconnect again.

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
