Call Forwarding through website or App not working

I have been trying to select call forwarding through the website and the app and the system is broken.

On the app it just returns you back to the Home Screen and on the website, it errors out. 
is Telstra fixing this?

Which device are you trying to forward calls for?.

 

Please describe how you are trying to forward calls using the app.

Under “your plan”, add ons, call settings, “manage”. 
Once I click “Manage” nothing happens, it’s either goes back to the Home scree, or times out.

trying to forward a home phone line to a mobile and ringing Telstra hasn’t worked.

Is your landline connected via the NBN?.

 

- if not, try dialling * 2 1 (Mobile number) #, Hang-up

Then to disable it dial: # 2 1 #, Hang-up

 

 

If it is on NBN, when you tried via the webpage, did you use the following method?:

 

You’ll find your Call Forwarding (and Call Waiting) settings located in My Telstra using your Telstra ID:

 

  1. On the homepage, find your service in the Account overview section, and select the Manage link
  2. Select Manage next to Your Plan
  3. Scroll down to Features where you’ll find Call settings
  4. Select Manage and you’ll be able to customise your settings.

Yes. As soon as I click “manage” at step 4, the app takes me back to the Home Screen and the website login errors out.

The *21 worked! Pity they don’t show his as an option in the call forward guide.

Just for my interest, I have always used the *21 method previously. Have recently connected to NBN so does that method no longer work if on NBN?

I was interested in that question too (and why the recommended method of using the My Telstra app or webpages) apparently did not work for the OP, however I have asked the same question 3 times.

 

You could possibly test the code/app/webpage methods on your NBN phone.

This worked on an NBN phone, so I am going with yes for NBN.

The Telstra APP and the Telstra website are not currently supporting the call forward option for some reason.
