Connecting DECT phone to Smart Modem Gen 2 if landline still connected to copper

Answered

Hi all.

I've just switched to NBN Fixed Wireless with Smart Modem Gen 2. I thought my landline would be connected to the modem but it remains plugged into the wall socket (copper) and working fine.

My question is how do I, can I , connect my 2 DECT phones given the landline doesn't seem to be working on the modem?

Regards

David

For modem's DECT base to work on an non NBN connection the modem's PSTN port has to be connected a working  phone wall socket.
