DISCONNECT me - PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I have tried many many many times to get hold of Telstra to CANCEL my existing home phone line - but really dont appreciate my messages finally being answered at 1030pm.  Is there no way I can speak to a real human (actually I'd even settle for a decent robot at the moment), so that you can STOP CHARGING me for a service I've been trying to cancel for a month.
