Downtime compensation

My internet connection went down out of the blue. Called Telstra, very helpful doing tests etc, told me that an technition will be around in a weeks time, at my own expense. 

Cheched the outage page and yes there an outage as of construction work. why Telsta contact did not tell me that? He made me unplug everything etc.

I want to be conpencated for the downtime.

When the outage is restored, you can contact billing and they can look into it
