extend the ring time before message bank 101 answers

I have tried everything to extend the ring time on my home phone before message bank answers. I rang Telstra direct months ago & was told it was changed, it is not. I have researched how to using *99 etc & also did 101 settings on phone to change.

None of these have worked.

I would appreciate a correct answer & maybe a phone call from a telstra representative to solve this issue.
