Home Phone listed as private
Around 10 months ago, after being put on NBN I noticed our home phone was listed as private and had a private setting, which I was unable to alter through My Telstra. Silly me, I thought it would have been fixed by now but it is still listed as private and has a private number message. How do I get someone to revert my phone to normal, take away the private listing AND the private number message. It is causing problems.!!!I have just gone into My Telstra and the home phone settings are no longer available. I have elderly relatives that think they are ringing a wrong number and don't leave messages.

Hi Cass, all white pages listings now default to "unlisted" or as it was previously known "silent line". This can be changed in My Account using your Telstra ID log in and clicking on mange next to "Your Plan". You will need to click manage on both the directory listing section and caller identification and follow the bouncing ball.
