Landline

our landline has not been working since 9/6/20 despite contacting Telstra about it . We have a technician coming to install a battery on 15/6/20 , because despite Telstra saying that we could buy a battery at your shops , when my wife went there the shop' assistant ' said we couldn't buy one . So , we are paying for a phone that we can't use because of your bungling . I would like a refund for our non usage period and for our trouble .

Hi - what is the brand and model of the phone handset that requires a battery? Is it a Deskphone or part of a Cordless Phone System?
