Manage Home Phone Privacy Settings in My Account

I have read posts re this matter. Just joined Telstra last Friday and wish to change my caller id from showing Private Number to showing my phone number. Went into Telstra My Account as suggested but there is nowhere there to change my phone's privacy settings. Please help with this. I did the Telstra online chat thing yesterday to change it, but no success even though I was told it had been fixed.

The only way to manage it permanently is to use chat or call 132200 as a consultant needs to disable the Silent Line option.

 

In the interim, you can force it to send your Caller ID on a call by call basis by dialling 1832 before the number.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
