Were you with Telstra prior to switching to an NBN connection? It could be that the porting of the number hasn't occurred yet (try calling your mobile and see what number comes up - you may be on a temporary service).
There are delays in finalizing connections and ports due to the restrictions in India and the Philippines around people going to work.

What version of the smart modem do you have. There are two versions see image below? Is the problem that you don't see ghe number of the calling phone on your home phone or is the problem your number is not displayed on phones you call?
