Old landline replacement after NBN installed

Answered

Ariel Landline has been disconnected by a truck,  NBN is connected via  Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC). Will Telstra replace the old copper wire ? Does it need to be ?

Re: Old landline replacement after NBN installed

Telstra external cables were sold to NBN.

If your service is working, it would be assumed that cabling is reduntant. You could check with NBN.

If your home phone is working OK with that aerial cable damaged - then the aerial cable isn no longer required and can be removed - you could pay to have it reconnected, but what to?
