Overseas calls not able to omake

I had a new Bundle connected at the same time as NBN connection, After that was not able to make overseas calls.  After numerous calls between Telstra and myself where NBN was blamed, could be barring of my account even though it was fully paid up and not knowing what it was I finally got an operator who helped me and after one month I can now make overseas calls.   When asked what the problem was I was told it was"system configuration" whatever that is.   Also have had numerous dropouts with my phone when I have to reconnect the modem.   Oh for the days before NBN and the Bundle Connect when I had a great service with Telstra.
