Phone line due to be turned off
My father has a Testra home phone he very rarely uses.
He has been informed that the NBN is here and his phone will be turned off on January 15 2021.
He does not want the NBN and is far too old to handle the tech anyway, he is 95.
Does he need to cancel his home phone line or will it be cancelled by Telstra?
Thanks

His line should be cancelled by Telstra when it gets disconnected but to avoid accidently still being billed best to request cancellation now if phone not used.

Re: Phone line due to be turned off
Thanks for that info.
How do i go about cancelling his service.
My dad is incapable of doing it himself and i can't seem to find the correct webpage or phone number.
