Not sure if i'm in the right forum section but here goes.
My phoneline is with telstra, although we don't have a phone in place we just needed a line for the internet!
The wires from the phone line have come out of the adapter that then runs via ethernet to my router to supply me internet.
My internet however isn't with telstra and they say it's a phone line issue.
Is there any way telstra themselves can fix this and rewire the phone line back into the adapter?
(hopefully i've explained that correctly)

I have had three days of ringing and tryng to communicate to their silly voice service. It keeps cutting out on me because I take too long to take the phone away from my ear and press the choices so ring again and in the queu again. After I finally got through I had a call from Telstra saying it will be a $130 call out fee if it is inside my house. No testing or anything at this point. I told the operator to stick the telstra phone and I will do without it. He them started being helpful and did some tests and discovered it was in their sine of things. I was very frustrated at this stage as I am not a Telstra technician and I do not have spare handsets to try those - one of their suggestions.
Ok then I get an SMS to say the line was fixed - it isn't any different so what goes now.
This is frustrating and Telstra can do their job instead of relyintg on customers to do it for them.
I wish I could do wthout Telstra as I am totally frustrated with their lack of help in my probem.
