Reprogramming instructions for the removal of the CVPN

Reprogramming instructions for the removal of the CVPN - least cost/dial plan features from PBX/CPE equipment

CVPN Dial Plan Customers using Switched Access Method:

Remove Switched Access (18811/18810) Least Cost Routing and Dial Plan Access

Reprogram the PABX so that the FNN and Dial Plan calls made on site are no longer translating with a prefix of 18811 + Full National Number (FNN) and 18810 + Private Number format respectively.

When the above translations have been removed for each of the PABXs, the callers should be able to make normal FNN calls.

Please also remove any 18810 selection codes that may be programmed in the PABX. This is where a selection Code + Private Number format (translating to 18810 + Short Dial number) will need to be removed from the CPE equipment. E.g. you may be using a single digit of 8 for the selection code.

CVPN Dial Plan Customers using Standard Access Zero Dialling method:

Remove CVPN Standard Zero Dialing Access - Least Cost Routing and Dial Plan Access

Reprogram the PABX so that the leading zero (escape) digit for FNN calls is removed.

When the above translation has been removed for each of the PABXs, the callers should be able to make normal FNN calls without the leading Zero escape digit.

Please also remove any Dial Plan selection codes that may be programmed in the PABX. This is where a Selection Code + Private Number format (translating to the Short Dial number) will need to be removed from the CPE equipment.

CVPN Dial Plan Customers with single Fixed Telephone Handsets and Fax Machines.

Customers who usually dial out from their fixed lines or fax machines with a leading zero for FNN calls and without the leading zero for Private Number (Short Dial) Calls, will only have the capability of making FNN calls (without a leading zero digit) as the CVPN Dial Plan feature will no longer be available.
