4G Modem Routers

My fixed wireless has come to a stage where the speed is at a ridiculously slow speed so I now have to revert to 4g data.  I am hoping that someone can recommend a good quality 4G router modem with at least 4 lan ports, wifi with dual band 5g and 2.4g that will work on Telstra network reliably.  If there is a selection of modems that I can research please

Re: 4G Modem Routers

Youd probably want a netgear knighthawk M1, that will give you 2.4 and 5ghz wifi with one ethernet port. Then just get a cheap unmanaged network switch to provide extra ethernet ports

Re: 4G Modem Routers

Thanks, do you know of any other models. I was looking at the TP LINK MR400 but I have read that it is not compatable with the Telstra Network.

Re: 4G Modem Routers

Another option could be getting a Netgear 790S (Telstra 4G Advanced II) or an AC810s (4G Advanced III) with a dc112 cradle

Telstra doesn't sell these anymore I believe (Went in favour of the Nighthawk M1) but the cradle itself has 4 LAN ports. Might be able to pick them up from a third party supplier

Also the Telstra 4GX Modem (Huawei B618) has 1 vanialla LAN port and 1 dual LAN/WAN port (Can be configured as either in the GUI)
