5G Wireless Activation - 12 days now and still account has not been activated

05/08/2021 - Modem arrived.

06/08/2021 - Switched on. "Mobile Signal" light is flashing red.

07/08/2021 - Messaged Telstra Team via My Telstra App. Activation request logged (not sure why this happened, i thought once the Modem was received, my account should have been activated prior).

10/08/2021 - was told by Telstra team to wait 24/48 hours.

12/08/2021 - was told by Telstra via Telstra app to wait 7-10 days for activation.

19/08/2021 - was told by Telstra via Telsra app to wait for activation.

20/08/2021 - i dont know what will be said.

Question: What is the average wait time for 5G wireless account activation?

It could be a faulty SIM. Your service should have already been activated.

 

Have you tried running the troubleshooter at https://fix.telstra.com (you can run this from any device on any connection, it links to your account).

It will run you through the standard checks and also run some remote tests on your service.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
