Bigpond Mobile Broadband - change device

Hi All,


I have a old Bigpond Mobile Broadband device that I wish to replace, but want to stay on the same plan. I am aware that the IMEI for Bigpond devices are the only ones that will work with Bigpond. My question is that if I buy a used Bigpond device, that has it's IMEI registered with Bigpond,  will it work with my Bigpond account once I have swapped SIM. If not what other options to I have?

If you purchase a used one then you would have to go through speaking to BPTS and they would have to mess around on the system to try and associate the details for that modem to your service.

The other option is to purchase a replacement modem from BigPond however it is at whatever the price is for the device you are looking for (up to $240 for the top modem)
