I have a new USB modem. To purchase pre-paid credit from BPAY:

2 questions:

1 —Do I pay money to the Telstra biller code 23796 ?

2 — Is ‘my’ reference number (and where my credit/data recharge will appear) my 13 digit ‘account number’, for the USB modem ?

I am new to this, thank you. I don’t want to pay money to the wrong place and try to get it back.

You cannot pay for Prepaid via BPay. That functionality was removed on 13th October 2020.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
