Faulty 4G modem

Hi I'm onto my third modem and this one has died the same as the previous one before.  I'm using the 4 G with a yagi pluged into them, they work fine for a couple of months then the signal becomes weaker to the point where they will not pick any signal at all.  We are still able to use the Internet by plugging our phone into the same yagi and using it as a portable hot spot any suggestions?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Hi farm80. Hope you get your problem sorted out quickly. Just thinking that it might help if you let people know which particular 4G modem you're speaking about, there are quite a few now :-)

Good luck!

We currently have the NETGEAR Aircard LTE Mobile Hotspot, before that we had the same thing in Sierra

Hi farm80,

That isn't a good experience to hear about at all. We can investigate this issue for you to find out the cause. I'll send you a private message with a form to complete so we can obtain some details from you to follow up.
