How can I turn Mobile Data Usage Notification on for an iPad?

Answered

I have two iPads. From one of them I receive email notifications when data usage reaches 85% etc. No notifications come from my second iPad. How do I turn notifications on.

It sounds like they are separate services, so you have to setup the notification for each service.

Instructions can be found on the page

Re: How can I turn Mobile Data Usage Notification on for an iPad?

Thanks for the link. It was still difficult because the instructions didn't match what I found on my screen. It said.

To view a detailed breakdown of your current data usage, select the Manage link

The link to follow was "See all plan details" (which is nothing like "Manage" link)

Then I found "Data Usage" which matched the instructions.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Data Usage

My Notification was already set to my email. This notification has not been working so I set it to SMS. It saved that and I will see if that works but the message says that some sims do not receive these SMSs.

I'll see what happens.

Thanks
