internet problems with modem and foxtel connected to splitter

Rang Telstra last Friday in regards to the modems WAN light blinking and not connecting.

Apparently they were going to call back due to technical difficulties(System Down) calling a technician to see us. We have called two times since and still same response also never had a call back from them and still waiting.

We have Telstra cable modem connected through a splitter to the wall socket. The last few months internets been dropping out.

Foxtel is also connected to the splitter but works just fine.

The modems WAN Blinks and does not connect.

Some days it works fine but then it doesn't work for days/weeks. Been going on for months but its just getting frustrating now.

Only solution we have is modem cable connected to the wall directly so we have internet OR have Foxtel running...We can't have both lol.
Yes the cables connecting them have been replaced and the splitter as well.

Any ideas on how to fix this or when you can send /call us for a technician to come look.
