Mobile broadband data consumed by errors
We're in a tourist area where the one tower doesnt seem to have enough capacity to handle the users. As a result most attempts at internet connections fail. BUT even after you get a connection the throughput delays are so slow that sessions time out and have to be repeated. I think this is why i have used and extra 3GB this month ( transport protocol timeouts). I would think if transmission/session errors are as high as they are in areas like this then there should be a discount for attempting to use the system. Why should I pay for the failures of the infrastructure?

Yep I agree and I wish you luck pursuing that with Telstra. It’s no different than the old days when your local call costs exceeded your internet plan because of the amount of times your modem dropped out.
